Mission Trips to ECUADOR

Team members will be focusing on various types of evangelism and ministry outreach projects. There will be several opportunities to work with local children, most of whom have had very little exposure to the Gospel. Evangelism through VBS-style outreach, house-to-house witnessing, food distribution and facilitation of church services are all possible forms of outreach. Light construction projects are also an option, including cleaning, painting, and modest repair work.

The main focus of our contact is to raise up indigenous churches and church leaders to reach the nation of Ecuador for Christ; our goal is to provide all the assistance we can in making this vision become a reality, and to see souls touched and won for Jesus.

In Ecuador, team members will be staying in a modest hotel in Quito.

Electricity, clean water, showers, and beds are all available.

Team members will be provided with three meals daily, along with purified water.

Soda's and extra snacks are also available for those who would like to purchase some.

There may be some occasions when the team will eat on-the-run or at a ministry site.

While in Ecuador, the team will have the opportunity to visit local beaches, and some historical/cultural sites. They will also have the option to visit the Equator the day before they fly out of Quito.

For an additional cost, there is an optional tour to the Galapagos Islands. The tour begins with a flight from Quito to San Cristobal; Global Infusion will arrange food, housing and transportation while on the islands. There are many optional tours including snorkeling and swimming with seals. Please contact our office for up-to-date costs of this excursion.

Airfare and In-country Transportation

At Global Infusion, we are committed to taking care of as many logistical details as possible, so you, the short-term missionary, can focus on your INFUSION ADVENTURE. We coordinate all the airline travel booking as it is included in the trip cost. We also are responsible for the organization of all in-country transportation.

The costs of all flights or other transportaion are included in the total trip cost.

Passports & Visas

Only a valid passport is required for travel. If you do not have a valid passport, please click here to obtain one.

Vaccinations

A recent tetanus and Hepatitis A are both recommended.

(GI staff will help you with acquiring any necessary vaccination or medication information required for foreign travel.) Vaccination and immunization costs are not included in your total trip cost as you will have to obtain these at a medical facility where you live.

All other information, including what to pack, weather conditions, country history, fundraising techniques, health recommendations, and cross-cultural travel tips are all included in the INFUSION ADVENTURES manual you will receive once your application and deposit has been turned in to Global Infusion.

The country of Ecuador boasts incredible sights and gorgeous landscape. An array of indigenous cultures, lively volcanoes, tropical rainforests and even the famous Galapagos Islands make up just part of this nation no bigger than the U.S. State of Nevada. Ecuador has several different indigenous people groups, all with unique cultures and religious traditions. Many groups deep in the rainforest and mountains have never heard the Gospel. The need is great to minister the love and salvation of Jesus to these precious people.
