Ministry Overview
Evangelism
Team members will be involved with several Ukrainian churches speaking at a number of meetings. During the day, the team will be on the street inviting people to church for the meetings. Other ministry includes one-on-one evangelism, praying with people, and assisting with various church outreaches.
Village Ministry
Team members have the opportunity to live in a Ukrainian village outside of Kiev. Outreach includes evangelism, spending time with the locals, ministering in church services, and facilitating a VBS-style of children's ministry.
Children's Outreach
With this option, team members will be facilitating an entire week of camp for Ukrainian children. Many come from very poor homes and do not attend church. This will be a great time to reach out with the love of God to these wonderful children.
Accommodations & Food
The team will be staying in dorms belonging to a local Christian ministry. There are plenty of beds, pillows, sheets, and mattresses for everyone. The food is prepared by our contacts on site, and clean water is always available.
There will be time set aside for souvenir shopping along Andriyivskiy uzviz (Andriyivsky Descent), seeing The Monastery Of St. Michael Of The Golden Domes, Saint Sophia Cathedral, St. Andrew's Church, Independance Square (site of revolt by the Ukrainian people to overturn the 2004 elections), the Motherland Monument (a statue larger than the Statue of Liberty, dedicated to their part in the Allies victory of WWII), the Arch of Friendship Monument (given to the country of Ukraine by Russia), and much more.
Travel Information
Airfare and In-country Transportation
At Global Infusion, we are committed to taking care of as many logistical details as possible, so you, the short-term missionary, can focus on your INFUSION ADVENTURE. We facilitate all the airline travel booking as it is included in the trip cost. We also are responsible for the organization of all in-country transportation. The cost of your flight is included in the total trip cost.
Passports & Visas
Only a valid passport is required for travel; a Ukrainian visa is no longer necessary

Vaccinations
A recent tetanus and Hepatitis A are both recommended.

All other information, including what to pack, weather conditions, country history, fundraising techniques, health recommendations, and cross-cultural travel tips are all included in the INFUSION ADVENTURES manual you will receive once your application and deposit has been turned in to Global Infusion.
The country of Ukraine has had it’s historic moments, both good and bad. From the Yalta Conference that joined Stalin, Roosevelt, and Churchill together in 1945, to the Chernobyl disaster in 1986, Ukraine “has not yet died” as it’s national anthem declares. Russian/Ukrainian Orthodoxy and Roman Catholicism still rule the day, neither of which is reaching out to the nation’s young people. There is a new generation rising up in the wake of Cold War days that is searching for truth.
