INFUSION ADVENTURE: INDIA - team was sent to Delhi, and the Indian states of Madhya Pradesh and Orissa to conduct two back-to-back 3-day conferences for over 150 indigenous pastors. Ministry was also done in many villages and a Bible school.

KATRINA RELIEF: Raised and donated $500 to River of Life Assemblies of God Church in Jackson, MI. At the time, they had several hundred people physically
living in their church; most of which were elderly persons from a senior’s home requiring constant medical attention.

FUNDRAISER Concert: Participated in the organization of a benefit concert to raise funds for tsunami relief in Asia. After the proceeds had been divided, Global Infusion was able to send $1300 to our contact in India to help with the relief work they are involved in.

INFUSION ADVENTURE: MEXICO - team is sent to Juárez, Mexico. The goal of the trip is to hold a conference for the local pastors and leaders. The team was made up of pastors from around the United States and conference sessions were held both morning and night.

INFUSION ADVENTURE: GHANA - team is sent to Takoradi, Ghana in West Africa. The focus of the trip is Teaching and Evangelism. The team is able to speak in over a dozen meetings, including a Marriage Conference, and a session on basic health care taught by an R.N. on the team.
An educational fund (Ghana Educational Fund (GEF)) is also established in conjunction with Grace & Faith Ministries. The purpose of the fund is to sponsor children who live in the villages of Ghana who have no resources for education.

Jonathan and John Haward traveled to North Port, Florida to deliver a $1,000.00 check to Gulf Coast Assembly of God. There were several congregation members whose home’s were destroyed because of Hurricane Charley. The check was given to Pastor Keith Jones to use specifically for families who needed the most help.

INFUSION ADVENTURE: MEXICO - team is sent to Juárez, Mexico. The purpose of the trip is to winterize dorms that GI had sponsored and helped to build during this past year. The dorms are currently being used as a group home for young girls from the streets of Juárez. The team insulated the building, tiled and remodeled the bathroom and showers, built an addition on to the existing building to be used as a laundry facility, carpeted the floors, and performed a variety of other tasks. The nighttime temperature inside the building went from 42°F with a heater running all day, to 62°F with no heater.

INFUSION ADVENTURE: INDIA - team is sent to New Delhi, and the Indian state of Orissa to conduct two 3-day conferences simultaneously; one for indigenous Pastors, and one for their wives. Over 150 people were in attendance. Ministry was also done in two nearby villages.

The team holds services in several villages simultaneously, facilitates a seminar for Christian leaders, dedicates a brand new village church sponsored entirely by Global Infusion partners, evangelizes and baptizes new converts in the "Whindo" village, assists with a Bible School graduation and preaches on a national television station.

INFUSION ADVENTURE: MEXICO - facilitated a team from Colorado Springs, CO. The team ran a children’s VBS program in four separate neighborhoods, ministered in various services, laid a concrete slab at a missionary compound, and did some repair work on the dormitories where they were staying.

INFUSION ADVENTURE: MEXICO - facilitated 5 different construction teams with team sizes of 81, 12, 7, 59 and 27 totaling 186 people. The teams continued to work on the "mall" began last year, they finished a children’s play area, they built a volleyball court, several bathrooms onto existing homes, and worked on other construction projects, all in a very impoverished neighborhood located just outside of Juárez (Carlos Chavira).

INFUSION ADVENTURE: MEXICO - team is sent to Juárez, Mexico. They finished a study hall in the girls home that we have been helping to build for the last few years. Many other projects were completed. The team also brought and gave away the following: hats, gloves, jackets, blankets, other articles of clothing, and a laptop computer.

All the team members ministered at various services, and also visited various potential ministry sites. This will be a new country Global Infusion is adding to our roster of countries. Our contact, Pastor Oseas Cordero, has not had any missions teams help his church or his ministry to this point.

INFUSION ADVENTURE: EGYPT - A team of 12 was sent to Cairo, Egypt. This was the second of two back-to-back teams facilitating both Sudanese and Egyptian medical clinics, and reaching out to Muslims in the local community.

INFUSION ADVENTURE: EGYPT - A team of 7 was sent to Cairo, Egypt. The team was there to facilitate the medical clinics and participate in a medical outreach, and sharing their faith with local Muslims. Over the course of two weeks, the team hosted several clinics (both Egyptian and Sudanese), seeing and treating literally hundreds of people. The team also went to one of Cairo’s largest garbage dumps to host a clinic, as well as an outdoor church service. Many members of the team spent time with the children in the area too. The team had the opportunity to facilitate a church service in an approved government church (Anglican), and spend several days witnessing on the streets of Cairo.

In addition to continuing our work there of distributing food to those who are starving, the team also facilitated several days of medical clinics where over 175 people were treated. The team also had many opportunities to share the Gospel, preach and teach in several churches, and even paint our contact’s church.

INFUSION ADVENTURE: Thailand - A team of 5 was sent to the following cities in Thailand: Bangkok, Phuket, and Trang. The team spent time evangelizing on the street, reaching out to women who are involved in the sex-tourism industry; the team also ministered the Gospel in schools to hundreds of children.

INFUSION ADVENTURE: Guatemala -A team of 8 was sent to Chiquimula, Guatemala. They went to several refugee shelters that contained people who had survived a disastrous mudslide. They delivered thousands of pounds of food, clothes, soap, mattresses, and other emergency goods. They also conducted several services for the refugees and taught church leadership meetings at our contact’s church.

The team ran multi-day children’s outreaches simultaneously, one of which numbered over 110 kids, as well as complete several construction projects (continued work on a daycare center, building out of two homes, beginning work on another dorm for girls’ home).

NEW GLOBAL INTERN!
Another Global Intern has joined the Global Infusion team at Mission Control here in Knoxville, TN. Liz DeStasio has a B.A. in Psychology and a M.S. in Mental Health Counseling. Before coming to Global Infusion, Liz worked with women who had experienced domestic and sexual violence, and provided them with counseling and advocacy.

INFUSION ADVENTURE: Guatemala - A team of 12 was sent to Chiquimula, Guatemala. This team also was able to reach the Chorti Indians with food, as well as the Gospel. Many of the Indians came forward for prayer, and 2350 lbs. of food was given out. The team also crossed the border into Honduras and ministered on the street to many people.

INFUSION ADVENTURE: Guatemala - A team of 4 was sent to Chiquimula, Guatemala. The goal of this trip was to continue reaching out to the Guatemala Indians experiencing starvation whom we have been working to reach over the past year.

LONG-TERM MISSIONS: MIDDLE-EAST - Global Infusion sends out two more long-term missionaries. Their names are Blake and Beth Stice. They will be working with our contact in the Middle-East for 6 months.

INFUSION ADVENTURE: UKRAINE - A team of 3 was sent to Kiev, Ukraine. The goal of this trip was to custom-build a kitchen for our contacts who had just moved into a new apartment two days earlier. The team was able to convert an empty room into a functional kitchen.

INFUSION ADVENTURE: GUATEMALA - A team of 4 was sent to Chiquimula, Guatemala. The goal of this trip was to purchase, transport, and distribute food to a region of the country (La Union) that is experiencing starvation. The team sent in January reached two villages, and this team reached two more. They distributed over 4,300 lbs. of food to 100 families, evangelized in the villages, and facilitated the Sunday service in Chiquimula at our contact’s church.

Summer Barbely is originally from Ohio, and a graduate of Master’s Commission. She has committed to GI for a year and a half. We thank God for her and her heart for world missions!

INFUSION ADVENTURES: GUATEMALA - A team of 3 was sent to Chiquimula, Guatemala. The goal of this trip was to purchase, transport, and distribute food to a region of the country (La Union) that is experiencing starvation. Many villagers have been eating nothing but bananas for the last several months. The team distributed over 5,000 lbs. of food to 116 families, evangelized in the villages, and held services in the cities. There are over 6,000 people in this area without food, so there is still much work to be done.

LONG-TERM MISSIONS: MIDDLE-EAST - Global Infusion sends out it’s first long-term missionary. His name is Edwin Rodriguez, and he is from The Sanctuary church in Tampa, FL. He will be working with our contact in the Middle-East.

INFUSION ADVENTURE: Guatemala - A team of 5 was sent to Chiquimula, Guatemala. The focus of this trip was evangelism and construction. Three of the men on this trip are skilled laborers and did a tremendous amount of work on both our contact’s city church and his apartment. The team also facilitated several church services, and personally witnessed to hundreds of people on the street. Once again, our team brought food out to the mountain regions where many people are starving.

NEW GLOBAL INTERN! Another Global Intern has joined the Global Infusion team at Mission Control here in Knoxville, TN. Wes Siegrist was working in video and media for his home church, while also attending school for graphic design and video. He has a huge heart for missions, and has traveled to Thailand, South Korea and Mexico for missions work.

NEW STAFF MEMBER! Blake Stice officially joined the Global Infusion team as a full-time staff member. Blake is from California, and went to college at Oral Roberts University [B.A.('04), M.B.A.('08)]. He has been going on, leading, and sending short-term mission teams for the past 7 years. Elizabeth, his wife, is also from California and graduated from Oral Roberts University [B.A.('05)]. She is an English Teacher by trade, and has been on, and led many short-term mission trips.
